Describe the issue
It said "You're already signed in", please help me unauthorize Andy's MBP, I no longer have that device, thank you.
Just click the unauthorize button to transfer your licence to your current device. The License Server is in the Roon Labs cloud - you don’t have to have access to your old MBP.
As @Geoff_Coupe mentioned, you do not need to have physical access to “Andy’s MBP” to remove it. Roon’s license management is handled entirely in the cloud.
When you attempt to log in to your new Roon Server, the system will detect that your license is currently active on that old device. It will then display a page indicating that your subscription is in use elsewhere. On that same page, you will see an “Unauthorize” button.
Simply click that button, and the Roon cloud servers will automatically deactivate the license on the old MacBook and transfer it to your current Windows machine. You can then proceed with your login and database restoration immediately.
Please let us know if you encounter any error messages when you click that button!
You can unauthorize a server in any Roon Remote instance by following the steps others have shared above.
If you need to deeply delete an old instance of Roon Server off a machine you no longer use to host the server, you can follow the steps below. Keep in mind that this will irreparably destroy your Roon database unless you have a reliable Backup, so make sure you’re performing this step on the correct machine:
