Underscore's new album unavailable in Roon but plays in Qobuz app (ref#QU81KM)

· Underscore’s new album (released 20th March) on Qobuz within ROON the tracks show as unavailable. I can stream the album on the Qobuz app and the album plays from Wobuz on the Linn app. So what is the issue with ROON.

Thanks for reaching out on this.

As it stands, synchronization between Roon and Qobuz isn’t in real-time.

To have new releases appear in Roon, Qobuz albums and tracks need to be mirrored within Roon’s database first.

This process can sometimes take a few days, or in rare cases, up to a few weeks.

Please hang tight, and the new releases should eventually show up in Roon’s integration.

Thanks for the prompt reply. As I said in the previous post Linn have the album on a free app. How can they do it yet ROON which charges a considerable sum can’t?

It’s there now.

Linn just accesses Qobuz via the API. Roon receives a complete database copy from Qobuz, which is how Roon can do so much more with Qobuz albums (after they are added to the Roon library). They sync this database daily (we think), but sometimes a piece of data is not yet included. Usually this only takes a day more to resolve, but occasionally there are hiccups. (Note that the Tidal version was already available in Roon on the 20th, and Qobuz currently has known CDN issues, so maybe this had something to do with it).

Thank you for your patience! As our community member @Suedkiez mentioned, these delays usually resolve themselves within a day or two once the full database sync between Qobuz and Roon is complete.

Roon can sometimes be slightly behind Qobuz when a brand new release comes out – our database is generated daily, but sometimes a new album will just barely miss the cutoff and will show up in a day or two.

At this point, it is just a matter of waiting for that final synchronization to catch up. Do you have any other questions or concerns I can help you with while we wait for that album to populate, or are you all set for now?

Just checking in on this one. Have you seen that Qobuz release appear yet, or is it still waiting for Roon’s daily database sync to catch up? If it is still missing, let me know and we can keep an eye on it together; if not, I’d love to hear that it has sorted itself out.

Just FYI, it’s available for me now but I haven’t been affected by any of the current Qobuz CDN issues (Germany), in case this was a factor for the OP.
