Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon? · None of the above quite fits
None of the above quite fits · None of these quite match
Tell us what's going on · see screenshot; why does it say "enhanced" signal; NAD should handle that for me, not ROON
Tell us about your home network · NAD M10 V3 wired; DECO MESH; all local tracks on SYNOLOGY NAS DS1525+

Are you playing an MQA file?
yes; so I guess this is normal? sorry, quite newbie at this (and probably a lot of other stuff) and trying out ROON; seems llike a great system

The signal path from Roon to the M10 is bit perfect (up to the Roon logo in the signal path.)
That is, it is the M10 that is enhancing the signal, e.g., it applies some DSP or upsampling.
The signal path does not indicate that MQA is being played.

Hello @Joris_Latinne !
The blue dot indicating modification of signal path is pictured next to the node that is actually altering it.
In your case it is against your amplifier which means it is Amplifier that changes the signal and not Roon.
In this case the settings of Amplifier have to be adjusted.
Have a nice day!
Regards.

Hi @Joris_Latinne ,
You can read more about Roon’s Signal Path and the specific color coding involved here:
In this case, the Signal Path is “Enhanced” because a signal processing step has been requested by the DAC. You’ll see this when upsampling is being applied.
Let us know if we can answer any further questions. Thanks!
