In the Roon path under the C3050 with the MCD2 Board i see two Equalizer Settings, + 2 db for highs and + 2 db for low frequecies. But i did not do such settings! The knobs for the sound settings are at +/- 0. Where from come these settings??
Since these details follow the Roon icon (RAAT), they are reported by the NAD C 3050, and occur inside the device. Roon cannot influence this, but it may be possible to change this using the device’s settings – refer to the user handbook.
There are no Soundsettings for treble an bass in the NAD BlueOS Software for the C3050. Only the two hardware knobs on the front panel. But these knobs or there settings have no impact on the roon path. The roon path always shows +2 db for treble and bass - even when the knobs are fully turned up or down, no impact on the roon path…
Then, the NAD applies this DSP as standard, and it cannot be changed. As I stated earlier, this occurs in the device, and there is nothing that Roon can do to change it.
Thanks for writing in! @mjw is correct in their above response, anything in the signal chain after RAAT is outside of Roon’s control, unfortunately - perhaps getting in touch with NAD directly could be helpful.
Problem solved! Before a factory reset, the buttons on the front panel of the NAD for treble and bass must be set to neutral, then perform the factory reset. After that, the NAD equalizers will no longer appear in the Roon path.
