Hi @Everett_White,
I’m unclear what exactly the issue is here. Where are you seeing this network 13? Since it happened after interacting with Samsung support have you asked them about it? If you could share some screenshots of what you’re seeing that would help us better understand what’s going on.
Hi Rob,
Thanks for responding to my issue. Yes, the Samsung tech did install or set up this mysterious “Network 13.” I don’t recall him downloading anything.
So, the bottom line is that the Samsung tech made my printer work on wi-fi, but in doing so he apparently disabled my BluOS controller. Since then when I open BlueSound the app does not find the device. It looks for players and does not find any.
I’m think if I remove this “Network 13” my printer not work.
Thank you so much for your help! I hope we can solve this together. I miss my music!
One other thing. On the BluOS unit two green lights (top and front) are flashing, like two quick flashes, a pause, then two quick flashes.Over and over again.
Flashing green on a BlueSound device seems to indicate that it is trying to connect to the network.
Since you can’t access the player from the BluOS controller either this does not appear to be a Roon problem, most likely you need to follow the steps to connect the player to your network.
How was your new router installed and configured? Many times new routers create a new defailt network name, and also may assign a different set of IP addresses than the previous router.
We’ve pulled diagnostics from RoonServer to see if it’s receiving device announcements from any BluOS device in this ecosystem.
There are no device announcements present in the logged period and RoonServer doesn’t have visibility to this endpoint.
RoonServer does have access to an ethernet port and the loopback. The most likely culprit here is the new router firmware or the BluOS endpoint itself.
Please respond with information specific to the router as requested by @Robert_F above to proceed. Please also reach out to BluOS support for steps specific to that network protocol outside of Roon. Thank you!
