Just updated to the latest version and some of the fonts are unreadable. Looks like ASCII characters instead of fonts.

Not official support. I would download the latest video drivers from the gpu manufacturer as a first step.
Thanks Rugby - I had just updated my GPU drivers earlier today.
I restarted roon a couple of times as it was crashing on start and the problem seemed to have resolved itself. Hopefully the crashing isn’t persistent though.
So, you are still seeing the video corruption? If so, could you post a screen pic, it would help. Also, what is your GPU?
No it’s fine now. Needed to restart roon a couple of times. Maybe the DB wasn’t completely updated as it crashed a few times after the upgrade. Though it might have crashed in the middle of the upgrade, hence the issue? Either way, will monitor.
