Describe the issue

I reported some two weeks ago that daily albums enter into my library without me having asked for them.

Describe your network setup

I can send you the invoice I received from my supplier.

Hi @j.stadig ,

Thanks for reaching out. I’ve hidden your invoice screenshot since it contains personal information, it’s best for these kinds of details to not be shared on the forum in case there are malicious actors also viewing the thread.

As for the issue itself, can you please confirm a few examples of albums that are being added, preferably with screenshots of the albums in the Roon view? Are these TIDAL, Qobuz or local albums that are being added? Is there anyone else that uses the account that these albums are coming from?

I use Qobuz. I hope to be able to send you the results of this night, more than 15 albums !

Hi @j.stadig,

Thanks for sharing the above screenshots - do you see the same albums when you access your Qobuz app directly? Or, do you only see them in Roon?

I never enter in Qobuz, I only use Roon to select music.

Hi @j.stadig ,

Thanks for the clarification. We are wondering if the same behavior is also visible in the Qobuz native app, or just in Roon. If you want, you can also check on the Qobuz web player:

Also, just wanted to double check my previous question, are you the only person who uses this Qobuz account and/or Roon Server? Could these have been added by a family member or friend?

A post was split to a new topic: Unrequested Qobuz Albums Added to Library

I am the only user.

I checked my Qobuz-library, which only counts 71 albums, with no copies of the albums I received in Roon. So no problem there.

Question: I never visit Qobuz because I understood that Roon uses the software that is available there. Am I wrong?

Hi @j.stadig,
Thanks for checking if the albums appeared in the Qobuz app as well.

Roon interacts with Qobuz through its API. This is a bit different than how the native Qobuz app works. Generally anything you can do in the Qobuz app should also be able to be done through Roon though.

Can you please try the steps below?

  1. Go to Roon settings → Services and sign out of Qobuz in Roon

  2. Now go to Roon settings → Library and click on the “Clean up library” button.

  3. On the screen that pops up check the box for “files Associated with disabled Storage locations” and then click Clean up Library.

  4. Once the clean up process is finished sign back into Qobuz on Roon.

Let us know if you still see the unwanted albums in your library.
