Okay, I don’t know if you guys did anything, but I was just able to update and now I’m on the correct version. Thanks I guess?

Hello @David_Gibson,

Thanks for the update.

To confirm: we did not make any adjustments on our end, as we are just now reviewing your ticket.

It is likely that the issue was related to a temporary glitch with your ISP or local network that resolved itself.

In any case, we are glad to hear it is sorted out!

Happy listening.

I’ve been having this same issue ever since v2.58 was released this week. All the clients update fine, but not the server, which in my case is rock, running on an Asus 13th gen NUC. I’ve tried restarting the server; no difference.

Jack_H, you need to make a new support post for yourself. Once Roon staff thinks the problem has been fixed they won’t look at this thread again.

Just wanted to post this in case somebody else runs into a similar situation…

The answer was simply rebooting the server - not just restarting the roon server software as I’d tried before but actually rebooting the machine running the server (the NUC).

I guess you’d call this a result of my own stubborn nature. Since the last roon update, I changed internet providers. This resulted in a router change for my LAN, and a change in the IP addressing system used. I assigned the roon server a constant IP as I’d done before, unplugged and re-plugged the ethernet cable on the server, and all appeared to be fine. The server worked as it had before, and was reachable via its web interface at the new IP address - so I thought all was well - except for the software update, which was the first such update since the ISP change.

So, why was I so reluctant to reboot the machine? Well, I hadn’t rebooted it since I moved it into place after setting it up, nearly a year ago. I was so proud every time I looked at that web interface and saw how long it had been running!

So, if there’s anything to be learned here, it is not to let your own stupidity get in the way of properly solving a problem!
