Roon, like many service providers, doesn’t hold credit card details – this is taken by the card payment provider – so they may not have this detail.
IIRC, they have the last 4 digits, but I haven’t checked if they hold the expiry date. Not sure they could process the update without taking payment (handing off) anyway.
They do send reminders about subscriptions. Surely, that’s enough?
Must be a lot of arrogant retailers out there as I don’t get inundated with reminder emails every time a card is about to expire. Definately, a fuss about nothing.
I’m a lifetimer so I have no experience with this, but evidence around here seems to indicate Roon does send email reminders about subscriptions, but I don’t know what the contents look like. It certainly would be good to give someone decent notice before a cancellation however. I know @Jim_Austin fell ill last year; it’s possible that when dealing with his medical issues something fell through the cracks. It happens to all of us. I hope he’s feeling better and that Roon could help him with his issues.
