Upgraded iMac and parts of Roon no longer work

Core Machine (Operating system/System info/Roon build number)
iMac Latest Roon build.

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)

Description Of Issue
Now neither my iPad or iPhone can find my Roon Core.

What’s going on?

Did you use time machine restore or migration?

Roon database can be problematic with such recoveries or restores. Roon should be reinstalled with a restore from a roon created backup set.

Hello @Robert_Liss,

Some questions and suggestions to get started with troubleshooting:

A) Are you able to use Roon on your iMac without issue?
B) Ensure that you have disabled the macOS firewall in System Preferences > Security & Privacy.
C) Check that your Mac and iOS devices are on the same subnet. This means that the IP addresses for all of the devices have matching numbers for the first three decimal groups in the IP address.

You can check the IP adress of the Mac by going to System Preferences > Network.
You can check the IP address of your iOS devices by going to Settings > WiFi and then clicking the “i” button for the current network.
