Description of Issue

I am trying to connect with my USB Bose external Speakers, The Audio tab shows them but when I try to play back ti tells me that the Audio device is in use and I get no sound.

Have you tried to reboot your Core machine since connection of the Bose speaker?
As it sounds like something else may have grabbed the audio, I have had this happen before.

Were the above steps helpful? If you’re still having issues, try the steps below and let us know if it resolves the situation:

• [IMPORANT] Create a Backup of your current Roon database to retain your DSP and other custom Zone settings
• Exit out of Roon
• Navigate to your Roon’s Database Location
• Find the folder that says “RAATServer”
• Rename the “RAATServer” folder to “RAATServer_old”
• Restart the Roon App to generate a new RAATServer folder
