USB drive recognized but empty on Roon with Rock on Sonic Transporter (ref#8RVURM)

Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

· I am running Rock on a sonic transporter. Roon recognizes my usb drive, but says drive is empty. Music files on the drive are WAV and usb is exFAT formatted. What am I doing wrong?? All the music files were copied from my cd collection using Exact Audio Copy. Only metadata info used was song, composer, record. The usb drive works fine on several different laptops (windows 10, windows 11) and I have used the safe to remove option when removing the drive.

Please troubleshoot your issue further using the following guide and report your findings:

roon states “directory appears to be empty” I have no access to any music files, skipped files is empty.

Did you follow the manual for your Sonic Transporter about how to add external storage to the device? If not, please try it? IIRC is external storage handled by the OS and Roon has no hand in it until users add it properly. Please also consider contacting SGC support on the matter.

You were correct, THANK YOU, I had to go to sonicorbiter.com , click on manage, then settings, drive mounter, usb. Then I was able to go back to Roon storage and set up the correct path.
