When a backup is created, Roon writes it to the folder you selected manually in Settings > Backups. If you never chose a destination, there may not be a backup to point to. The easiest way to check is to open Settings > Backups and click Browse, which will show the current backup locations Roon knows about (@AceRimmer is spot on correct with the above reply.)
If you’re looking for a backup made on another machine, or a backup from an older Roon Server installation, tell us what platform that machine was running on, and whether you still have access to it. We can then help you track down where that backup would have been saved.
If you can, also let us know what you see when you open the Backups screen.
Thank you. I see nothing as it’s a new PC. I have only one hope, a NAS that’s currently on the high seas from australia in a shipping container. Please god let there be a backup on it…
Hi. I had a different laptop but that was formatted. I have a NAS on the way from Australia so there’s a chance I used that previously for backup. Thanks anyway
