Describe the issue

I am thinking of using my Mac Mini as a Roon server.
In that case, if I rip a FLAC file on a Windows PC, put it on an SSD formatted as ex-fat, and connect it to my Mac Mini, will it be possible to play it on Roon?

I have a Mac Mini set up with an exFAT drive, see the screenshot below. But it has stayed mounted on the Mac after copying the music I had then to the drive, and I use the network to move new music files to the drive.
