Hi Im sorry if I am missing the technicality of my question, I access my SR25 2 occasionally as my NAS storage via my Naim App. I then thought could I add this to the storage as a network share in roon However I am either missing something or just can’t find any mention of this as a possibility. To able to use the AK as a portable NAS is great but I am unsure if this is possible via roon I am aware of the roon ready in some more expensive AKs and now Fiio So I concluded this may have to wait until or if ever ! roon comes to the AK SR25Mk2 ?
Unless it offers up a samba share to the storage then no it won’t work. The Naim app will be seeing at as UPnP server I guess to pull from its not acting as a NAS or have you got it connected via USB to the Naim where it will act like any usb storage device.
