Using my MacBook in a different room from my Mac mini

Thanks for the timestamp! We examined the timeline thoroughly, and still aren’t seeing anything out of the ordinary, which is quite odd.

We see the volume settings from your Mac’s system output here:

Specifically, the volume level being ‘value":100’ followed by normal playback:

I thought I’d tried that before, but wasn’t sure. Hoping that would work. Unfortunately both settings still played through the MacBook and not the Klipsch

Thanks for giving that a try! A few additional tests for you:

  1. If you connect the Klipsch to a different machine / device (could be your mobile device) are you able to get playback through the speaker at all? Which model Klipsch are you using by the way?
  2. Depending on the speaker model, are there other streaming options outside of bluetooth?

The Klipsch is The Three II. I connected my phone via Bluetooth and it played without any problems. I don’t have Roon on my phone so I could not test Roon specifically. I connected the MacBook to a small Bose speaker via bluetooth and it would not play on the Bose, the sound was still through the built in speakers. I really appreciate the help.
