Using Roon App (Android) To Play Music Through Bluetooth

I did some searching, but could not find a good answer.

I have the Roon app on my Android phone. When I bring it up, it will work in the same room as my PC, so I can use it as a remote - all good.

What I want to do is use the Roon app to play a music file through the Bluetooth on my phone to either headphones or a bluetooth speaker. I think I may have gotten it to work once, but can’t seem to do it now.

Any help? Thanks!

when you are running Roon on your phone, go to Settings / Audio find your phone on the list, go to device setup and make sure Private Zone is set to no. After that it should be available to select as an output zone.
