I went looking to see if Roon could be used to replace standard system audio output on a system upon which is running. This would allow “airplay” like service. Since I have shifted away from using AppleTV and Airplay for audio distribution, I would like to “steer” system audio to my RoonRemote players scattered around the house. I use MacOS mostly but I also have a few Windows and Linux machines running in the house.
