Using the search tool stops playback

Networking Gear & Setup Details:

Intel NUC i3 with 8 Gig RAM connected directly to Google Fiber router. 2-terabyte SSD with Library connected to NUC via USB.

Connected Audio Devices:

Cambridge Audio CXN-V2; Cambridge Audio DACMAGIC 200; three Sonos One speakers via Airplay.

Description of Issue

I have seen some posts around this issue but nothing recently and nothing offering a solution. 50% of the time that I use the dropdown search function in Roon, it stops the music playback. I have to press the play button again to get it going. This has been going on for as long as I can remember and is a true PITA. Any ideas when this will be fixed? Thanks.

Is this when you happen to press the space bar while typing the search?

It often happens while typing the first word. I don’t have to press the space bar for it to occur.

OK, asking because space is the play/stop shortcut and there were cases in the past when it was triggered although it shouldn’t (like in a menu).

I have never experienced this nor read any post about this, so nothing to offer, sorry
