Version 5.10 Windows Alloc (large filters, 512 + DSD)

! ... clHQPlayerEngine::Execute(): clAlignedAlloc::SetSize(): lAllocSize < 0

This appears to still be an issue in the Windows build. Happens when trying to run a large filter like Sinc-L .

It shouldn’t be happening as much on any of the more recent HQPlayer versions… Which version do you have?

helo

this is on 5.10.0
if same as report above
happen with 512 and up rates
256 works

Which settings? With or without CUDA? @Marios_Hadjigeorgiou @Eminent_One ?

But yeah, it is one of the Windows’ 32-bit’isms… Other OS have gone properly 64-bit, but Windows only half way.

I need to check the CUDA part later, as I don’t currently have a GPU with enough RAM (16GB or more) on any of my Windows PC’s. Does it still do the same if you disable CUDA offload, just for testing? Because I believe I tested that case to work…

yes same message cuda uncheck and grayed both

Yes can confirm it is happening with CUDA offload. System is a 9950X + 4090 + 64GB Ram, so it shouldn’t actually be an allocation issue in reality.
