It shouldn’t be happening as much on any of the more recent HQPlayer versions… Which version do you have?
Which settings? With or without CUDA? @Marios_Hadjigeorgiou @Eminent_One ?
But yeah, it is one of the Windows’ 32-bit’isms… Other OS have gone properly 64-bit, but Windows only half way.
I need to check the CUDA part later, as I don’t currently have a GPU with enough RAM (16GB or more) on any of my Windows PC’s. Does it still do the same if you disable CUDA offload, just for testing? Because I believe I tested that case to work…
yes same message cuda uncheck and grayed both
Yes can confirm it is happening with CUDA offload. System is a 9950X + 4090 + 64GB Ram, so it shouldn’t actually be an allocation issue in reality.
