NUC running 1.8 Legacy core and iPhone running 2.0. Can’t update core. Mismatch won’t allow connection.

Your Roon system needs to be running either all 1.8 or all 2.0.
Did you at some point disable automatic updates on the Roon Core (I’m just wondering why it did not update to Roon 2.0).
I’m assuming your NUC is headless and you are running Roon Server 1.8 on it.
Connect a monitor/keyboard/mouse to the NUC, and then download Roon Server 2.0 from Roon’s website and install it
Once 2.0 is running your 2.0 remotes will be able to connect to it.
