Description of Issue

I used to be able to control output volume on my PS Audio DirectStream with Network Bridge II from the Roon remote app on iPad and I use it a lot, virtually with every other track I play. Recently it stopped working. I can slide the volume control on the Roon app but it doesn’t change volume on the DAC.

If I use the DAC’s hardware remote to change volume, I can see the change reflected in the Roon App. Playing and Pausing/stopping through Roon still works.

Show a screenshot of the device setup page in roon.

@ivan are there any other steps I can try to help debug the issue?

Hi, @tan, sorry for delayed response here. @support can provide some further guidance here.

Am I getting it right that this means that in case you are using your DAC’s remote control, volume is actually changed and the change is audible?

Thanks!

Ivan

hi @ivan thank you for responding! yes when I’m using my DAC’s remote control, volume is actually changed and audible, and also reflected in the room remote

Hey @tan,

Ben here with the support team, thanks for providing that additional information! If possible, could you please recreate the issue, and then use the directions found here and send over a set of logs to our File Uploader?

If you could share the specific date, time, and name of track of when the issue occurs as well, that would be helpful. Thanks!
