Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

Tell us what's going on

· Not able to control volume from the dac on nucleus 1. Using usb from Nucleus 1 to Dac then to preamp. Custom dynamo preamp has no remote so was hoping to control from app. Whatever I’ve selected ends up fixed volume. Any help appreciated.

What DAC are you using?

Not all DACs will offer this, even if listed as Roon Tested (note, not Roon Ready).

I have several Roon Tested DACs. Some have device volume control, some only via DSP.

Is DSP volume control listed under the outputs audio settings?

Feel free to share that information, along with a screenshot of your DAC device settings in Roon. You can access this by enabling the zone > clicking the volume icon in the lower right-hand corner > clicking the cogwheel > device settings.
