I think I’m doing this correctly as I just turned on volume leveling. What does -11.7db mean? Does that mean it’s turning the volume level up or down to meet the correct level.
Just curious. Please see screenshot.

It’s turning the volume down. As per the KB article, Volume Leveling makes almost all material quieter.
