Volume levelling - PCM versus DSD

Currently I use this settings:

It works just fine with PCM and partly with DSD:

But, when I change from PCM to DSD I have to increase the volume with 10-15% when listening to DSD compared with with PCM even volume leveling with DSD shows up in the signal path.

It would be nice to have the same level all over.

PS: I only have a couple of DSD’s, but it would still be nice to have the same level.

Out of curiosity what is your DSD → PCM gain set to in MUSE? I noticed the same thing, I had to set it to +6db and risk distortion if the SACD didn’t follow the -6db rule. If I didn’t, volume levelled DSD was quieter.

Ok, I don’t go back to DSD which is probably the difference. I have a PCM only DAC.
