Subsequently purchased Roon and the Roon Nucleus in February 2023. Shortly after the purchase came the “volume problems.” The volume has since gone to the maximum 5 times. Unbelievable … Of course the limit is set to 50 after the first time. Other settings I have set are: “device volume” and volume normalization is “off”. I have Roon Remote on 7 devices. Three Android devices and 4 Apple devices (ipad, macbook etc). I have a strong impression that it is a Roon software problem. I had similar issues when using my iPhone as Roon remote. I disabled in Settings → Setup → Lookscreen controls and since then it never happened again.
