What are you drinking now? [Pair with music for double points]

Some mono Sergio Mendes and an okay wine. First time trying out the “Super Mono” feature on my Parks Waxwing. Pretty fun.

It’s a particularly mellow, surprisingly, flavour and I shall get another the next time I’m on the island…I just noticed your’s has the 10 year old label, mine was a 12yo which you can only get at the distillery, or that’s what they distillers told me…

I just had to go to Delaware, which fortunately is only about 15 minutes away.

I see your evening went unexpectedly mainstream after Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict, which is a classic! Perhaps you listened from the bottom up? :joy:

The rum is a newbie from the last trip, pleasant and once again mild and smooth but it ain’t a 12yo…:yum:

They have a large range, and Stiggins Fancy is what got me back into drinking Rum again after so many years.

There’s only three distilleries in Barbados to the best of my knowledge, Mount Gay, West indies Distillery & Four Square. The latter appear to produce numerous brands including R.L.Seale & Plantation Rums, defo worth a visit when you visit the island…

Whoops, I forgot the St.Nicholas Abbey distillery, a relatively small distillery and the produce priced accordingly, nonetheless it’s tasty and the Abbey is worth a visit…
