Tried searching here and in the Knowledge Base, and I even tried experimenting to find the answer, but to no avail: How much of a song needs to play for Roon to consider it a “play” when determining play count and date last played? When I skip a song after a few seconds, it does not update the date last played, but when I wait a little while longer to skip, it does update it. Is it a certain percentage of the song? A certain number of seconds? Thanks!
It counts up if you play the approx last 5 seconds of a track. I.e., it counts if you start playing a track 6 seconds from the end and let it play to the end.
Don’t know if it counts if you start from the beginning and skip before the last 5 seconds, and what the criteria is if it does
Another data point: Starting from the beginning and skipping before you’ve played 30 secs won’t cause the play count to update.
