Over the years I’ve accumulated heaps of classical music albums but must confess that I have not listened to it all, let alone become familiar with some of the more recent compositions.
No problem with Roon - it finds and plays them for me and broadened my musical horizon. It discovers music here that I had no idea, or forgotten, I had and would not have consciously set out to listen to. Yes I still love Bach, Mozart Beethoven etc works but there is a lot of unfamiliar music out there too easily ignored. Maybe it it not up to the standard of the old masters, but it is worthy of attention.
