What is the best way to use my Avpa1HD as an end point?

I have a Denon AVPA1HDA AV Processor and I’d like to use it as a direct end point. I already have a Logitech Squeezebox touch connected but I wondered if there was any way to directly connect to the AVP DAC via its WiFi connection

What are you using as a core? There may be a way with Windows.

AVPA1HDA does not run Roon’s RAAT software for it to be discover-able as a Roon Enabled Device. If it runs Airplay you might be able to use that, but, you would not get HD music. Roon does not use DLNA.

The best bet is to use a bridge device like the Logitech Squeezebox which Roon can see as an endpoint and plugs into the Denon, which it sounds like you are already doing.

Using the iFi bridge software you can simulate the Squeezebox device in Windows. So your physical connections would be the Windows core to Ethernet and the receiver to Ethernet. That is why I asked that question.
