I’m from Vancouver and here are a few that are worth a spin: Japandroids, New Pornographers, Neko Case, Destroyer, A C. Newman, Dan Mangan. Hoping someone can suggest a few new ones!

From Reading UK, about 10km from me, I’m a big fan of Teleman. Give them a try!
One of my favorite local bands would be Thievery Corporation.

So originally I’m from a small town in Notts, UK.
We had our local “hero” band.
You may have heard of them and I’m not ashamed to say I still have one lp by them.
The town was Langley Mill.
The band was Paper Lace😎
