I’m wondering how people handle things like Bruckner’s symphonies. They exist in multiple versions, with different editors, completion dates, etc… For the 9th Symphony, recordings can be of only the first three movements or with a completed 4th movement (multiple completions of the 4th movement abound). In Roon, all of the symphonies exist as only a single composition. Is there any way to identify the version of each of the recordings in your library?
You could try setting the Composition tag external to Roon with a distinct name eg (Novac) then edit the Album setting the metadata option for Work Multi part as Prefer File
