I might need to revisit this as it was always the least favourite of her albums. But might just have come at the wrong time in my life.
I will listen again this weekend and see if it is improved with age.
A fine slice of post-rock pie, with lots of other ingredients added in. Young Jesus are well worth a listen.

Released today by the incomparable Elisabeth Leonskaja, this album presents a masterful interpretation of two of the three late piano sonatas by Franz Schubert. Schubert died from Syphilis in November 1828 at the young age of only 31, and during the last months of his life, looking into death’s face, he penned the three sonatas D 958, D 959 and D 960. All three works are of exceptional emotional depth, and I count them between my favorite works for solo piano.
