Although I now love this album, for some insane reason my brother bought this cassette for me to replace my DSOTM tape that his car deck had chewed up. to say I was not impressed…
I bet! I also had several cassettes chewed up by a cheap cassette player in my car.
After I while, I was so fed up that I ended up spending quite a lot of money (my parents were horrified) on a much better quality tape deck, which never chewed any of my cassettes!

My ‘audiophile affliction’ was clearly germinating at that point!
It was the late nineties before I could afford a decent head unit instead of the crap Goodmans or similar from Argos. By then it was CD and then a Frankenstein rig with an early hard disk plugged into AUX.
