Close enough for me, not that I really need any excuse to play some TSO.
December 5th we will be there live in Little Rock

I think @Enough said it was a photo of an old policeman looking out over his patch. Lovely little album from a lovely band. Very understated and under appreciated band.

Just back from seeing Magenta concert and picked this up this live double album from stablemates Tiger Moth Tales. In the CD player now and sounding great so far.
You will probably enjoy this @AceRimmer as I think you introduced me to them 7 or 8 years ago

Probably, will see if it’s on Bandcamp as that’s where my Magenta and Tiger Moth Tales albums have come from.

I was going to pick it up on BandCamp yesterday after getting the email, but remembered that I had bought a couple of previous TMT live albums at the Magenta giggs.

New Magenta album coming out in Feb next year ass well. They played the first track from it tonight and it sounded great

Just realised that this TMT album is not available until Friday, so no point looking for it on BC at the moment. It is only available at live shows on CD at this point

I was talking to someone the other night, who is very friendly with Pete Jones (Tiger Moth Tales). Said he’s a really nice bloke.
He’s also a brilliant multi instrumentalist and singer. Considering he is blind, that’s quite remarkable. He plays and sings on the new Andy Latimer release. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Yes indeed.

I know about the policeman’s name ‘Bob Barlow’ and the photo was taken by Karl Morris Hughes who was a member of the Royal photographic society, who passed away in 1979.

He is standing at the top of Everton Brow, which is a district of Liverpool. The area was totally flattened during the late Sixties and then rebuilt. I guess this photo was taken 67/68.
There is another photo from a slightly different angle.
I’ll see if I can find it later.
Edit: A slightly different angle.

And yes, very nice laid back album.
