When I try to connect to my Roksan Attessa Streaming Amp, via settings/audio on the Roon App, the Atessa appears under Roon Ready - but when I click on it, it says it has not yet been certified and to contact the manufacturer implying that te problem is with Roksan - see screenshot attached(
Can someone please explain what the problem is, what is being done to fix it and give me a timeline? I love my Attessa Amp, and I love Roon - getting them to work together would be the icing on the cake!
Roon do not comment on certification unless there is some violation of protocols going on as was the case with Eversolo recently. It’s a two way street between them and the vendor. Roon and most of us on here recommend not to buy a product promising Roon Ready unless it’s passed certification it can and often does take a lot of time as there is lots to ensure work properly.
Thanks. That’s useful to know, but the problem is that Roon and Roksan each seem to be saying that the delay is with the other… So if Roon don’t comment, and Roksan say the delay is with Roon, I guess I just have to wait until they meet on that two way street. Oddly, the Roksan Attessa shows up on Roon as Roon Ready, and Roon Ready shows as an option on the Blue OS app that controls the Attessa. But something, somewhere isn’t working. Slightly annoying, but this glitch aside Roon is great. And despite the current lack of Roon, the Attessa is amazing!
