Where is configure Roon OS devices?

I am setting up a rock system and I gotta say, the documentation on how to set up is not super easy. That said, I got most of it but trying to follow the codec section is a mess. Some links that just link back to the same page, a video that is more of a gif that just loops every 5 or 6 seconds and is too small to see anyway. enough of my bitching, my question is this. After downloading the FFmpeg file and uncompress it the doc said to just move the ffpeg file to the codec folder within Roon. There is no FFmpeg file within the uncompressed file but I found ā€˜codeclib’ is this the one to move? I tried that and my FLAC files play but not mpeg4 or mp3 so I’m thinking this isn’t the correct folder. also, to check the status of my Roon Server I am supposed to access the web interface and click Configure OS decide. I log into Roon via safari but I do not see 'configure OS Devices". should have mentioned first…I installed rock on a NUC 97

There is if you download the right file and looking into the file I couldn’t spot a codeclib in it. See also:

There should be an FFmpeg in the uncompressed file and it should go here:

If there wasn’t FFmpeg in the file try downloading from here (Edit: LOL, like @BlackJack linked above):

There are some settings in the WebUi (WiFi, ethernet, internal disk, etc) and some settings are in Roon/Settings. So depending on what you want to change you will need to search around a little to find it.

To check the configuration of the Rock(Roon OS) you can use your browser and enter the IP address.
assuming you have proper access setup in your pc/macs firewall/settings.
It should look like this:

You should also be able to access it from within Roon from the ā€œsettings/setupā€ page by clicking on ā€œfindā€ in the ā€œfind Roon OSā€ section (again assuming your firewall allows the connection):

Hi,
Yes, I read that and when I access the web based OS where do I see ā€œConfigure OS deviceā€ Yes, maybe I am dumb or blind or whatever but still couldn’t find it but, after fumbling around for a while I found it. In any event, I found it and yes, bad codecs is the problem. I re-downloaded the FFmpeg and so far, so good. Thanks for the tips
