Hello, I tried several different apps (MacOS) to create m3u files. But none of them are showing up in my playlist part in Roon. I made sure that they are relative and put them in a seperate folder watched by Roon. Also I tried to put them in the album directory. But no chance.
What app (prefer Mac) are you using to create your M3U files?
I use mp3tag for tagging (available from the App Store - I don’t think the Mac version is available from the developers website). It can also create m3u playlists, under File-create playlist. The resulting dialogue box gives options for location to save playlist to, and also whether it should be relative or absolute.
This has always worked for me for creating playlists outside of Roon itself.

What is the content then? Please note that Roon doesn’t support album playlists (complete lists of tracks from a folder in order).

So you mean the only way to let it funtion is to make the playlist within Roon? Or is there a way to work with M3U’s and in what way or with what app?
Why would you want a playlist that simply is an album? Just go and play the album instaed (or play the folder).
You can create a playlist that contains tracks from different albums. You can also create a playlist in the album folder that has a different track order than the album itself has.
The one thing you can’t do is create a playlist from a single album that has exactly the same tracks in the same order as the album itself, as described in the documentation that was pointed out more than once by now:

I understand now. My English is not that Well that I always exactly understand what it’s saying. But i tried a playlist with all songs from different albums and that was exepted by Roon. Thx.
