Who has a turntable in their setup?

Replaced my 1978 Technics SL-1610 with a Technics SL-1210 G Master Edition.

For now with an S.M.S.L. PH-1 Phono Preamplifier MM and an Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge.
Looking to upgrade to a Gold Note PH-10 phono stage and a decent cartridge when my listening room will be ready.

I’m impressed with the SQ, using a low budget phone stage and cartridge, after not having played records for over 25 years.

Thanks - I love it,

Due to a balcony fire end of june 25, I had to give up my entire apartment.
All of my belongings, my entire stereo (with exceptions), and my record collection curated over 40 years are no longer usable due to the smoke damage and had to be disposed of.

I had to start almost from scratch, but now all is good, and no one got hurt.

I guess having every record sound like it was recorded in a smokey basement jazz club is not your thing.
All joking aside, that’s quite a terrible ordeal to have to go through and I’m glad to hear that
you have been able to move on with your life and audio and musical journey.
