Why can't Roon Core lock Esoteric K-03X

Description of Issue

May I ask why the Roon core cannot lock the Esoteric K-03X, and other music playback areas will not disappear from the options.
I use other music software to output through the K-03X. What is the possible reason?

And i am having difficulties understanding what you are experiencing.
Does the Esoteric not show up under Settings->Audio?
