genre at least for me was the one essential thing to sort my library … then i got roon and since then i wonder why roon hate genres ?
Let say i get an album form tidal, or on harddrive and the genre dont fit in my library logic (some people have really crazy definitions for genres). To change the genre on one album i have to make 3 clicks, scroll down and write it manual + another click to remove the unwonted genre + “save”. Changing genre on multiply albums … not especially easy too.
Why not treat genres like tags → one click away, own customizable checklist …
