Why did roon.exe disappear from my surface go?

Windows 10 Surface Go/Latest Update

I started up my Surface Go and the desktop icon for Roon was ‘blank’. Looking in:

C:\Users<username>\AppData\Local\Roon

roon.exe was no longer there.

I reinstalled Roon and was able to use the application again.

Any idea why the roon.exe file disappeared? Did an update fail?

Hi @chris_barney,

Did you make any changes to your Roon database recently or was there a Windows update or something like that? Also, it could have been an antivirus application if you’re using something new.

No changes to music folders.
No change to db.

Last update on the surface was:
