Hello. Why Do My Speakers Appear Twice in the Roon App? Can I delete the top row (Roon Ready) or bottom row (Other Network Devices) or do both sections need to be activated? It’s odd to me. Thank you.
It’s because your speakers support two protocols - RAAT (Roon Ready) and AirPlay2, and you have enabled both protocols in Roon’s 
> Audio settings.
Thank you. Are both necessary? Can I delete the Airplay section without causing issues or dropped signals? What’s the advantage of Airplay if I use WiFi?
Just disable the Airplay zones is all you should need to do.

For clarity, you can disable the devices that show in that section so they are not used, but you can’t delete them from view. Roon will always show all compatible devices it can see, though one can pick and choose exactly which devices/protocols they wish to use.
