Description Of Issue
A couple of months ago I noticed that Roon now gives all new music files a 2018 add date. It never used to do this. The day and month is always accurate, but the year is always 2018.

More important than why this is happening, how do I correct it?

Thanks!

It’s not doing that for me. All my dates are correct. Is it possible that the date on your computer is wrong? Just a thought.

Thanks for your comment, John.

First thing I checked was whether my computer had the wrong year, but, no, it’s correct.

That’s part of my puzzlement, because I had assumed that Roon gets its “added” date from the date on the computer—indeed, where else could it get it?

Clearly, though, it’s not doing that!

What’s your configuration?

You should check the respective file time for the first two options, Core time settings for the third and check the IMPORTDATE file tag if you enabled the respective option.

Thanks for the suggestion, but. . .where do I access the “Import Settings” screen?

It’s in Settings > Library.
