Months ago i cancelled my tidal expensive account to not have mqa. Downgraded to the cheaper tidal hifi account.
Now roon again started to play tidal mqa tracks with the result that my non mqa (linn) device stops playing on every format change (mqa - flac).
What to do, i have setup roon to not play mqa, why does this keep happening. It does not help to select longer delay on format change.
Do i have to cancel tidal, and then roon?
Most of Tidal tracks are MQA, but your pretty much getting CD quality tracks for that new lower price. They are still MQA encoded because 90% plus of the Tidal Library is that way.
If you don’t like that I would recommend cancelling and moving to Qobuz.
