Have you listened to Jeff Beck?
Not actively, Jeff Beck comes by sometimes when Roon keeps on playing radio at the end of an album but I think anything that is not actively choosen should not be part of the recommendation engine, otherwise you’ll get stuck in a loop. Besides that I have a strong feeling dat Roon recommendations in general are just an average of the tast of Roon users and has little to do with my personal taste. I can’t tell you enough how much I dislike Diana Krall (and a thousand soundalikes) for instance. She is the personification of utterly boring music to me.
Yes. That is my understanding of how roon works. There have been several threads where roon have said as much over the years. I believe there is also some additional weighting of personal preferences/listening habits but my experience is that depending on genre/artist that tends to be swamped by the user base preferences you may not share.
