Roon Rock on Intel NUC, port number keeps changing itself from this to 4xxxx, which stops Roon Arc from working - all is fine when I change it back manually.

Thanks for your patience while we work through each thread. Following up on this issue, we’ve seen similar things in the past happen when other programs using assigned ports may take priority over the assigned port within Arc, and would sometimes auto-change it to the next available option.
With that, I’ll need some additional information from you:
Roon Core Machine
Include your operating system and machine info (Model, CPU, RAM)
Networking Gear & Setup Details
Your network gear (model of routers/switches) and if on WiFi/Ethernet
Connected Audio Devices
Specify what devices you’re using and their connection types, like USB/HDMI/Chromecast, etc.)
Number of Tracks in Library
Tell us how large your music library is, eg. “30,000 tracks”
ISP, Router Model and any additional networking gear

What other programs are you running that need assigned ports? If you could please recreate the issue and use the directions found here and send over a set of logs to our File Uploader, that would be helpful
