Why is Roon reanalyzing all my tracks?

I performed a change to one of the metadata tags (Composer) on all my tracks/files. Now I see Roon is analyzing all my tracks again.

Is this normal?

I can see why Roon would rescan the files to update the metadata tags I changed, but why would it need to reanalyze the music in the files when it’s already done that before?

Hi @Saturn94,

Yes, it is normal for analysis to occur when a change has been made to the files. This is something that we may be changing in the future, but currently this will happen whenever you make changes to your files.
