Why is Roon snapshotting databases? I can’t use my system
Probably one of two reasons. Either you initiated a backup or a scheduled backup is running. If it’s the latter, check Settings → Backups → Scheduled backups to change the time to something more convenient.

I did not schedule a backup. I don’t see the word backup in settings as you described. I am running on a Mac mini and it is completely updated. Sequoia 15.1
Settings → Backups definitely is there.
