Why roon keep telling me to update the software yet the are already the latest version

Try rebooting your roon server, the message may go away then.

also there were some Qnap fixes posted in the #roon:qnap-synology recently, have you applied this?

After rebooting all the roon softwear. The system become normal. Thanks for your help.

Qnap 453 is a 2 bay nas. No fan design makes it perfect for music center like the roon nucleus.

Thank you. I did as you said and it came back to normal now.

If it returns which it may. Stop Roon locate the Roon server cache and delete its contents. Then restart Roon. This will sort it out permanently I have found.

Depends on the platform your running Roon on.

  1. Shutdown your Roon Core
  2. Find and open your Roon database
  3. Navigate to /Library/Roon/Cache
  4. Move the contents of the /Cache folder elsewhere, like your desktop
  5. Try restarting Roon.
